The parking brake engages just fine using the joystick, but it no longer seems to want to disengage.

@DonBruce64 Update: It turns out, all I needed to do was clear out the brake assignment in the joystick and reenter it. I'm thinking what probably happened is that the joystick was still mapped to the old brake control, not the new brake_digital. I'm going to mark this invalid, but if anyone else has the same problem, we can let them know what the solution was.
