So Apparently I've seen that this Mod is poor of cars i would suggest you some more cars and more

I would suggest The Car

-Lincoln Town Car
-Ambulance
-Lamborghini

I would suggest:

  • To make the an animation when you open the car door
  • Control To Lower The Glass

A) there's already an '81 Town car in Seagull's civil pack, B) there's already an ambulance in the Blackthorne Empire Vehicles pack, C) there's a content pack system. You want a Lamborghini, you make one, D) technically there's already an animation, but it's instant, E) not gonna happen. Would take a lot of code hackery.

I'll chime in here:

On the subject of cars: MTS is designed to be a framework for people to make their own cars in-game. While I understand that there are cars that people would like to see, it is up to the modelers making the car models to make these vehicles, not I nor the dev team to do so. MTS is more of a community mod where people do what they want than a mod where you order up things you want to see (like some of the train mods).

As to the animations, Fsendventd is correct: there is an animation for the doors. Doors automatically open when you are stopped and you engage the parking brake. When you lock the car with a key, they close. Perhaps in the future doors will open individually, but that is a ways off as it's purely cosmetic and core code comes first. Issue #21 addresses this topic in more detail.

As to glass, that will never happen as it involves moving shapes. If you don't like the glass you can disable the rendering of it when inside a car by pressing the P-key and changing renderInnerWindows to false in the config. Or you can break them entirely by hitting the car. Your call!
