Looks like I'm using an older version of the portal api. I will update and see if that addresses it.

because of mod load order, when my mod is included, the current version [email protected] is loaded and that seems to be a problem with Aether. I believe that the Aether needs to look at this.

I think this may be a problem with the Aether. When I fire up the latest - [email protected] it appears to load up a very old version of customportalapi [email protected]. For reference, the latest is [email protected]. The source code on GitHub for Aether shows it using a later version, but that is not is what showing up in the game launcher.

Ok i will inform them then also . sadly i need to make a new map then causs without aether maps will not start anymore ^^ np thx for looking into it.

server won't start without Aether?

For reference, running Aether 1.5.0 loads beta33 of custom Portal api when I try.

When Mining Dims mod is include, the version of customportalsapi that my mod is loaded instead, which I suspect is the problem.

I opened an issue with the Aether mod: devs-immortal/Paradise-Lost#535

When you build a map with aether and remove Aether for mining_d. ( so starting the map witout aether map will not start) you need to build a new map without aether to start server again . hope that clears my last answer^^.

What error do you get? If it is a datapack error for the Aether dims, you can delete the dimensions keys from the level.dat with an NBT editor and get back to normal.

Common issue with mods that add datapack dims, kind of a Mojang bug.

It tells me to turn of a Datapack or starrt map with vany pack but this didnt worrk . If i build the map with aether and try to start without it will sstart wit Vanila packs but loops in error screen . You click start with vanilla and it stays in that screen till you click back to startMenue. Hope my english makes sense ^^

Ah and when i deactivate all Resurcepacks ( where i think the Datapacck is) map would not start ether.

sounds like the dim key issue. Let me try something out. How do you make an Aether portal again?

You didnt even need a Aether dim i think it build itself when you create a map with Aether , when you delete the mod in the modpack map will not start .

the problem arises because minecraft saves an entry for any new dimension added by datapack in the level.dat. If you start up without said mod, it gives you the safe mod loop and won't load. You can remove the dim keys from the level.dat with an NBT editor and be back in business, saving your Overworld.

Just delete the non-vanilla dims under WorldGenSettings/dimensions as shown in pic above.

This is an issue on our side (Aether Reborn). Feel free to close this issue, as it's been resolved in dev builds, and should be fixed in the next release.
