First, I just want to say I love the mod. Seeing what was available in the mod currently that gave me an idea for an item that I believe should, conceptually at least, fit in seamlessly with what the mod has to offer.

The idea is an ore vein mining upgrade. If a block is a type of ore and it gets hit by the laser (either in 1x1 or 3x3 mode), the entire vein gets mined. Considering the breadth of upgrades already offered in the mod, I'm sure that something like this is perfectly doable. Heck, I'm a software developer by trade and recently made a Minecraft mod, so if you want I'd gladly help implement the idea. All I would need is someone to come up with a texture and crafting recipe and I could probably figure out the rest.

I hope the maintainers of this mod and anyone else who sees this like the idea. Thanks for the great mod!
