[Suggestion] Blockbreak animation styles

So far there are two block breaking animations:
- Shrink
- Fade
Can we also have the default vanilla breaking animation? (Like eg. hammers from Tinker's)
It's a laser, so how about heating up animation? May look like changing blocks' hue towards red until they break? Don't know how high or low of a lag it would induce.
That would be such a low lag approach, I kinda like it. Depends on @Direwolf20-MC as from what I know it would pretty fundamentally change how our breaking currently works.
Putting my two cents in. I was just watching DW play with the animations in a vid, and I would like to suggest an "erode" option that shaves away layers of the block starting from the side the player is mining from. I'm not sure how well I'm explaining this. If mining from above, when the block is half mined it would look like a slab.
I know this would not be a low lag approach, but since player orientation is already done to draw the laser I'm wondering if that information could be called for the breaking animation without too much added calculation.
