Try removing the orespawn.json file. If that doesn't work, send the file to me.

Sorry for coming back so late.
Anyway, it now works in stable version but not in alpha, with this minecraft.json with or without intact or empty orespawn.json. It also does not work if named orespawn.json and then replaced to the defalut orespawn.json file.

Seems to be a problem that might be specific to loading of configs in OreSpawn v2 - when v3 is released can you try again and let me know if the mod functions as expected ? (Please note that OreSpawn v3 is currently 1.11.2, though there should be very little needed to backport it to 1.10)

OreSpawn v3 has been released for 1.11.2 on CurseForge and it should have this issue fixed. If possible can you test it and let us know if the issue is, indeed, resolved ?
