I'd like to make a suggestion to the new version being developed: eye animations and 3D pixels. This mod reminds me of the, "Animated Player Mod", from 1.7.10, where your character's eyes move around based on where you look. The textures used for the player's eyes, pupils, and eyebrows were found based on the unused area in your player's skin, allowing for further customization as seen below (the textures are there twice because there were versions that looked at different spots for the eye colors).

Thank you for the suggestions! I liked that idea from Animated Player mod, but I don't think I'm going to implement it myself, maybe an addon developer would. The 3D skin layer though, I do like that idea. Could be a side-project for me, we'll see.

This would actually be really cool, in addition to 3D layers (such as hoodies, hair, glasses) which also came from the Animated Player Mod. Maybe these can be done sometime after the 1.16 version as an addon or something if they are not already being worked on.
