I think this mod is causing variable extreme lag spikes when mob captains spawn in inaccessible regions. I'd like to disable their particles completely, but there's no option that I can find.

Will leave this open as an enhancement but for now, you could just empty out all the particle functions

You can open the pack using an unzipping tool and then you should find the functions under something like data/ps-mob/functions/particles/
