Mob fan and Absorption Dropper not functioning properly

So recently, I started to play stoneblock 3 with a friend, and made a single player game to play. When I started working on the Mob Grinding Utils mod, in stoneblock 3, I started during my session with friends. I made a room, encased in the dark glass that helped keep the mob grinder room dark, and started to try using the Mob Fans. They do work with pushing items, they do push entities, and most of the upgrades do seem to work. But, the upgrade that's supposed to help push the mobs out farther doesn't work. Even without it, two fans separated out far enough let me see that they weren't the same distance either. one fans distance went out 4 blocks ahead, and the other went out 5 blocks. The simple fix I used to help push any mobs to the grinder were the entity conveyors. Everything else worked fine, including the absorption dropper in the Multiplayer session. However, when I tried to do it in a single player session, with the same plan as I did, the items and experience points weren't being grabbed. They were in the boxed area when I set up the hepper and grinder, but wouldn't pick up anything, until I had broken the mob masher. It acted like it couldn't grab the materials when it was working in my multiplayer session with friends. I had to put the hopper in the same room as the mobs for it to suck in the items and experience points. This is an issue and stops the mob farm from producing materials, since I have to go in and have light getting in, stopping production, and progression to go further into this specific mod. It is so unique that I absolutely love it, but I don't have the talent to work on this to help fix this.
