I have no idea. seems like such thing should never happen unless a mod would porpously lower the visibility of that field. Can you try removing some mods and see if you find the one its conflicting with? does it work alone?

I have the same problem

Can you send a crash report too?

Strangely enough, it now works. The reason for me was having nature's aura tweaker installed without crafttweaker. Forge tried to show the "you don't have a dependency installed" screen, but kept crashing due to:

  1. Dynamic Surrounding trying to play startup sound without Minecraft actually starting
  2. Model Gap Fix trying to force its load while the game clearly wasn't ready for that
Removing Nature's Aura Tweaker fixed everything

Oh nice job on figuring that out! Quite a chain of events

Happened to me again.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Been trying the client fix mod on 1.19.2 and it works fine but while constructing my 1.18.2 modpack the same issue pops up.

Might be again something unrelated. Only way that can happen is if either somebody else lowere drhe visibility of that method or like above if something failed way before it

This issue, while not critical, can make it harder to troubleshoot problems with other mods, and can make it seem like it's this mod's fault. Happened to me when i accidentally tried to install a 1.19.3 mod on 1.19.2, but the only thing that showed up in the crash log was this mod. I hope there can be an update that allows the forge error screen to appear even if this mod is loaded.

Well, I'd tell you the other few mods I put in while I had the ModelFix off did something there, but I've tried to recreate as best as possible the initial issue, to no avail. The error just refuses to happen again, now that I've put on and taken off several mods, trying to leave the ones I had at the time.

I'm deeply sorry to have made you lose your time, but I'll be sure to hold all the convenient documentation if I happen to face the same issue at some point again. Thank you very much for your patience and attention.

I also have a Crash on Startup problem but it seems to not be tied to other mods but ModelFix itself.
Here is the crash log:

Same issue. Totally unrelated. You are missing some dependencies from some other mod causing game to crash. It's just dialing to reach the missing dep screen. Send latest.log so I'll tell you

I'd point out that in the meantime I've installed a few mods including the balm library (because I guess libraries might be the most influential to this mod functioning), and though it has behaved differently the mod still led to a crash on the game's load (the mojang loading screen showed up two times in both checks I did). Here is the latest.log as you requested.

it says that forge itself had an issue setting up its own mod. idk how could that ever happen. All issues below are just cascading due to failing mod state

Did you send the right file? issue exception doesnt match what you sent last
