I have applied different levels of upgrades to various electric machines, only for them to vanish after turning my back for a while. I'm unsure if this is because the machine stopped crafting the recipe that they were applied during, if they were deleted after leaving the chunk, or if it's some other issue.

They were being spat out of the wall they were built against and despawning.
