Playing the Random OneBlock Skyblock pack, and I got a Creative Tank. So I put in water into it which is great... but how do I empty the creative tank to put in a different fluid in survival?

You can't. The Creative Tank and barrel are made for testing in creative. They are not made to be used in survival. That's a modpack issue.
