Getting these concerning warnings about overflow, the setup - pipe is pulling from a machine and placing it in a sophisticated storage chest or other MI machines.

It's a pretty large network of machines with inputs on one side and outputs on another, but then both sides are connected to one another so products become inputs etc. For the soldering dust and gears, those are slightly different because they both additionally get routed to a sophisticated storage barrel with memory settings to only allow them in a specific slot(s).

It means that some items are getting destroyed. What kind of setup do you have?

This might be a sophisticated storage issue alone, with the "Pretty Pipes" mod we're noticing weird behavior where it is oversending to similar memory-slot-setting barrels despite having upgrades that prevent that. It could be that both MI and Pretty Pipes isn't reading the inventory correctly, or Sophisticated Storage is reporting it wrong.. I can try to reproduce and upload a photo later.

Reproduced it with this setup, mixer making soldering dust -> sophisticated storage -> blast furnace making soldering alloy. It actually happens on storage default settings too, however interestingly enough it only happens when there are at least 2 slots filled with the item. I.e. it doesn't happen here -

And incidentally, it does only happen with sophisticated storage barrels and chests.

It also doesn't happen with your mods chests nor pneumaticrafts - seems like its their problem!
