Describe the bug
When falling from a damaging height sometimes I won't receive fall damage from it.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a survival world
2. Get wood
3. Build a wooden plank pillar high enough to damage you when you jump off it with ladders going up to the top
4. Climb and jump off the tower, the bug usually occurs between 1 and 32 jumps but can be more. I recommend changing game mode to peaceful to avoid dying from fall damage

Expected behavior
To take damage every time I fell from the pillar

Additional context

1. This bug occurs with all versions of Modular power suits in 1.20.1
2. I have tested it with various versions of forge up to 47.2.0 and it occurs in all of them
3. When used in mod packs the issue can become worse which is how I found it
4. This bug can occur whether your armored or not
