You might have this idea for your next mods, but if not, I think it would be nice to have different boats with different chests as well, as in mod's current version (1.5.6 1.21 - Fabric) all chests looks the same when placed in a boat.

PS: I dynamically placed the chest on the boat with the Right Click Chest Boat mod.

It is on my planned list of a mod/feature to add, but its a rather big project and I don't have a load of time as of right now to work on it.
