I tried to edit the speed of the rail by Config in game. However, it doesn't comes effect immediately, instead it comes effect after I reopen the whole game. Is this a bug or this mod do not support in game changes.
Also, may I know what is the unit of the speed of rails in config? Does it refers to blocks/second or others? Thank you for answering

I can't remember the exact units it uses. I think it may be blocks per second? I'm not entirely sure.

As I know, some mods allow immediate change of config, will it be possible in the future for your mod?
