When EMI ( https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/emi ) is installed, the search overlay is not working, and we can see this message in the logs:
[MoreOverlays/]: Something went wrong. Could not find JEI Search Text Field object

I think it would be great to support the text field from both mods

I just checked with the latest MoreOverlays, EMI and Forge version and don't have any problems. Could you check if you're using the latest version?

you must have both JEI and EMI to trigger this
the overlay works for me but it spams the log with [Render thread/ERROR] [MoreOverlays/]: Something went wrong. Could not find JEI Search Text Field object
it logs the error even if I open different screen like the pause screen, options, etc.

Has there been a fix for this?
I have the same problem, but for me it freezes my game for a few sec.
