Major lag when joining a downgraded server using ViaFabricPlus mod

Fabric Loader + More Culling + ViaFabricPlus + Minecraft 1.20.6.
Steps to reproduction:
- Add mcstyles.pl server to the server list (This behavior occurs on all servers)
- Set version to 1.20.3-1.20.4
- Join the server and notice that the back button and window become unresponsive for a few seconds
