on 1.21.4, with more culling "BlockState Culling" setting turned on, and the "Whimscape 1.20.2-1.21.4_r2" resource pack installed, the nether wart block (3d model) over soul sand causes the top face of the soul sand to be missing in all nether wart growth amounts.

i can provide version names of fabric, all the mods i have installed etc. etc. but i just dont know how to, feel free to ask for more info

Sounds like the resource pack creates a flat bottom face.
