Question About Max Health 'Supported Attribute'

in the config file's supported attributes section, i have tried adjusting the line that says 'minecraft:generic.max_health;more;20' in various ways to try getting mobs with higher max healths to have them when morphed into. im not sure if there is something wrong i am doing, if it is a bug, or if it is not supported and i am misunderstanding. nothing i have done works. thank you!
Adjusting the cap isn't retroactive: you'll have to kill another mob of the
same type afterwards to have the max health be updated to the new one set
in the config. Make sure you've tried that and let us know if it's not
working.
