Scrolling doesn't work in players own in or creative menu

Even though the scrolling of items between inv and containers/etc works great, it doesn't work between just inv and hotbar.
Not sure if this is a bug or simply not implemented though.
This is kinda by design because the hot bar is part of the player inventory, and the "other" inventory is actually the crafting slots (which are not present in creative).
I see, thank you. I was just hoping I could scroll items from and to the hotbar. Would be usefull in creative menu or when simply organizing the inv, no matter the gamemode.

Would there ever be an option of adding this or making it a togglable feature in the config(Referring to the creative part)? This is a feature in mousewheelie if that's of any help but lord knows if that will ever get an update. Realise this has been answered sort of but thought it better than opening a new post.
