[All versions] Mouse wheel scroll goes into the crafting grid instead of hotbar.

Could this be fixed for every version? Or at least the 1.16.5 one? (since for 1.12.2 you can install NEI 1.8+ and disable the wheel tweak from this mod)
It's quite annoying when I scroll something but it doesn't go to the hotbar.
Mouse Tweaks scrolls items between the player inventory slots (including hotbar) and the open container slots (chest, furnace, crafting table). When you open the player inventory, the container slots are the 2x2 crafting grid, similar to an open crafting table. So scrolling works between the crafting grid and the inventory + hotbar. How are you suggesting to change that?
Removing the ability to scroll wheel into the player crafting grid. Maybe it could be a config option (though I doubt anyone uses it to put items into crafting grids).
It's for when you scroll wheel just 1 item from your inventory to your hotbar (which I do with food since I store it in my inventory).
It's just a pet peeve of mine how this mod has never done that like NEI 1.8+ (and I think Item Scroller) did, neither of which are updated.

I might be mistaken, but with current Mouse Tweaks implementation this would mean scrolling won't do anything at all because there would be no "container inventory". Which is why I'm asking how exactly you're proposing to change it.

Do I understand correctly that what you're suggesting is that in the player inventory you should instead be able to scroll between the hotbar and the rest of the inventory?

The one useful case is scrolling from the crafting output slot (e.g. put a stack of wood and then scroll just a few planks out). Should that be special-cased then?
I was just hoping it could be a config option or something. I'm not a programmer, I just like my small QoL changes.
I'm trying to figure out what behavior precisely you're asking for. It won't need an option.
