Right-clicking with the Axe of a Thousand Metals right before going to the Nether removes the swing ability

How to reproduce:
Step 1 - Build a Nether portal
Step 2 - Enter it
Step 3 - Right before entering the Nether, swing the Axe of a Thousand Metals by right-clicking
The swinging ability will be removed and sometimes the axe attack will not display the animation.
This can be fixed by relogging into the game.
