xenobyte has an exploit allowing players to give themselves any item using packages using this mod. It would be nice if that was fixed.
Don't use old software, pretty much this won't be fixed.
This is like asking Microsoft to fix problems in Windows XP

You can use Recaf to patch the classes for the mod on your server.
Alright, I’ll look into patching it at some point - your furniture mod is definitely one of the more useful ones for decor. Sorry if I came off aggressive earlier, it just feels like a lot of mod authors tend to dismiss 1.7.10, which is unfortunate since it was really the last version before the game started getting bogged down with feature creep after Jeb’s changes.

For me, it's just a time issue. It would be great if every developer could maintain a version of their mod for every version of Minecraft but it's just not realistic (especially with the amount of mods I maintain). I just focus on the versions the majority of the community uses, and at the time of this reply it is 1.20.1, 1.21.1, and 1.21.8. While 1.7.10 is quite popular for being that old, it is niche in comparison to 1.20.1
