i want to use Terralith worldgen for a second maybe a third overworld dimension.

Could you add support for that?

As far as I know, I'm fairly certain that it supports Terralith. I've installed it both server-side and client-side though, but I doubt that makes a difference. For other overworld dimensions, you can make them, but there isn't a portal feature yet, so for now, you can't have portals. However, it seems that portals and custom generator support is planned for future updates. That's all I know.
