Describe the bug
I have step assist augment installed in tier 5 boots but when I walk up to 1 high blocks I do not automatically step over them like expected. Is there a toggle option I am not aware of? I had thought that they worked when I first put them on the boots but then stopped working.

EDIT: Correction: It seems to sometimes work when I take the boots out of the tinkering table but the functionality does go away.

To Reproduce
I am not sure what caused this behavior
but,

1. Create tier 5 boots
2. add step assist
3. walk into blocks?

in one case it fails to work if it was working and I relog when I come back in they do not work again until I put them back on the table

Expected behavior
I expected to be able to disabled auto jump because I could now walk up 1 high blocks as if they were stairs.

Side question, is the intention of the tinkering table with it's extra slots and the fact that none of the tools or armors having more than one slot, that there are plans for there to be new items to use more slots or that it is open for people to create their own items with more slots?
