Currently the rune holder can only hold runes. This kind of makes sense given it's name but it would be amazing if it can hold any item/block not just runes.

They can hold any item that is added to the correct tag: mythicbotany:ritual_runes. So if you want them to hold another item, you need to add it to the tag.
