Running a personal modpack and I have been experiencing an issue with the Canopy Diminisher not limiting the size of trees. It does however trigger and produce aura when a large tree grows.

Minecraft 1.16.5
Forge 36.1.16
Nature's Aura 34.2

Please try to reproduce this issue with just Nature's Aura installed.
