I am playing on a 1.12 pixelmon server but every time I install a version of nature's compass, it never allows me to craft the item? Is there something I might be doing wrong?

Check with the server owner to make sure they haven't changed the recipe with MineTweaker/CraftTweaker.

Can you list the mods your using? Is the issue only present when using the Pixelmon mod and Nature's compass?
