NeoFromTheMatrix is an abstraction layer to let you play NeoForge mods on FeatureCreep for Minecraft Forge (though we eventually plan to make it work on other FeatureCreep platforms). It remaps the NeoForge mods into SRG but with MojMap classnames, undoes lots of the refactors done by NeoForge to make its mods work on MC Forge again.
This is a very new project, lots of things have not been implemented yet and many mods will not work, please let us know which mods you want to see and which mods do not work so I can test them. We activly want testers to help make this mod work. Freedom is our #1 priority, which is why we are giving you the freedom to play various mods together without needing to deal with the preferences of developers who may only want to develop for a specific loader leaving the player unable to play their mods unless they use that loader. The Licence is Lax and I encourage you to share it as many places as you can!
This is requires FeatureCreep 4.0 Pre 18 or newer for 1.20.2 or newer to run, as it is technically a FeatureCreep mod however some versions of NFM may be pegged to specific FC versions. This is an official abstraction layer by the FeatureCreep team. It is not however in any way official to the MC Forge team. If you are running NeoForge mods with this, DO NOT waste the time of the mod developers with your logs unless you have tested it on an actually working NeoForge instance, and do not contact the MC Forge staff either unless the FeatureCreep staff gives you permission because this abstraction layer is hacky so will be prone to bugs and you will just be wasting time asking them to debug.If you have this installed the best place to get support is in the comment section, our issues on Pagure, or our Discord.
NOTE: UNLIKE MOST OTHER FEATURECREEP MODS, THIS ONE IS NOT VERSION INDEPENDENT, NOR LOADER/PLATFORM INDEPENDENT (though we hope to eventually reduce this), YOU STILL NEED A CORRESPONDING VERSION AND YOU CANNOT RUN NEOFORGE MODS ACROSS VERSIONS THE SAME WAY YOU CAN WITH MOST FEATURECREEP MODS
