Consider creating a new Mob Category for spawning lava fish and related mobs, instead of spawning them under Water Ambient. This would allow for much greater control over spawning rates for mobs, and allow other mods that can effect spawncaps and related values to target lava fish independently without interfering with normal fish spawning.
