1. Install Nether Chested and Bits And Chisels
2. Open the nether chest and put anything inside
3. Your items will get voided

Potentially out of interest: Bits And Chisels contains stacc-api, which is likely the real culprit here. And if you first place something inside the nether chest, then install BAC and do whatever you want, void as many items as you wish etc., then uninstall BAC - the items you put inside the chest before installing BAC will appear in the chest, as if nothing happened, but not the voided items.

Can confirm - I'm on same version as the OP, the items in the nether chest are still there and accessible - if you blindly poke in the cell where the items are, you can pick them up, but if you put them in the chest, they are voided.

Can you test if this is still an issue in the 1.20.1 versions? Made some internal changes there, can potentially backport if the newer version works fine.
