Effectivly, the whole point of this project is user security correct?

Well delete .minecraft/profilekeys on launch, and occasionally check if it was re-created,

since it can be easily hijacked and stolen, just delete it,

Reasoning

keys are currently too easy to steal, anyone with an RCE can steal them, which who knows if any RCE may popup and be unreported for an while

In #59 the dev said this is no longer an issue? I'm not sure if it's a duplicate or you refer to a different thing.
Edit: indeed it doesn't seem to be created anymore.
