when i combine a flint hatchet with logs, nothing happens

Oh just found out that you have to put the axe in your crafting box for you to get planks

I'm guessing they changed it cause you now have the ability to strip logs thats my only guess

Yeah, this isn't an issue in either 1.12 or 1.16.
