I'm currently using Tetra and Simply steel together with NTP (lots of other mods but none interfere with my problem). It all went well, had some problems finding sticks with dynamic trees but was another mod that modified the drop rate but when I reached the point where I started mining I found that using steel tools did not mine ores that are supposed to be mined with iron tools. I tested to see if it was a tetra bug but both the vanilla iron pick and the tetra modular iron pick could mine redstone/gold/diamond but the steel couldn't. I figured it had to do with the fact that steel isn't on vanilla ores so it was a imcompat issue with NTP.
I was wondering if there is a way of modifying the mining requirements so I could include steel and any other material that I might need in the future.

Minecraft - 1.16.5
Forge - 36.2.22
Tetra - 3.19.0
Simply Steel - 1.1.0
NTP - 4.2.3

I'm sorry, turns out I'm dumb af and didn't understand some of tetra's mechanics. I just needed to make a full pickaxe and not a pick mattock thing because of tetra reasons. everything is good and has nothing to do with your mod xD
