I found the super hammer is a bit abrupt and the regular hammer is just brutally picky. (in 14.4)

Would you consider... (with x being a configurable setup scale)

Regular setup makes 1x improvement per click... but randomly any needy block adjacent to the target... just to ease finishing things off.

"Magic" gold level setup makes 5x improvements per click, on any needy block within 2.

"Epic" diamond/emerald level setup makes 25x improvements randomly to all needy blocks.

I accidentally tore down a good half dozen tents checking out the various sizes... would be very helpful if setup was individual clicks, but teardown was holding the button down on the door like you are trying to dig it out.

And finally... have you considered ditching the hammer as a tool/ recipe and making "easy" or "automated" setup be what you do with empty hand (that had a tent until you started this process)
