Placing one's bed in a tent and setting your spawn point there does not work as expected.
When you die, you respawn underneath the tent, rather than next to your bed. This puts you outside of the barrier blocks.
If you do manage to get back inside, however, right clicking the tent blocks removes them, including the door. Walking into the door also doesn't work to get you out.

Hmm... I've never encountered that "click and remove blocks" bug before, my guess is there is some sort of server-client desync.
As for the spawnpoint, when Mojang added the respawn anchor I removed all the code that handles spawnpoints in dimensions other than the overworld. I'm not sure why it's failing.
Question about the video: when you respawned underneath the tent, were you flying, falling, or staying still immediately after respawning?
It's also possible that I simply need to update the mod to support a newer version of Minecraft/Forge...

Falling, though on repeat tests I was immobilized until I switched to creative and could fly back up to the tent.
The right click block breaking bit only happens in these death scenarios. If I enter the tent normally that doesn't happen.
