While I hope the searching inside the tab is implemented first, this one should also be obvious.

Right now when a recipes accepts different item types, the items shown cycle every second. So you can hover one item and check the tooltip every time it changes.

This is obviously not the most practical. A possible solution could be to only show a static recipe without any cycling, but give the item that has multiple choices a different background shading color. Then you could move the mouse pointer over the item, and either horizontally or vertically you'd see the icon of every acceptable item, one next to the other. You could then move across this new bar to check the tooltips individually for every option (and make it move to multiple row/columns if there are so many they'd go off screen).

In short: display every item can be used in an individual layer
It,s a useful idea and you should take a look into that.
