try to delete loliasm and mixinbooter mod , idk if he will change thing , but try

didn't work

There seems to be a problem with Intel GPUs. I have to do more testing to see if it is a general problem of Intel GPUs.

This problem was observed not only on intel GPUs, some nvidia GT200-400 series lines are also subject to the same problem.
As soon as it is possible to provide logs of players with this problem, I will do it right away. The problem is that players who have such a problem simply delete the mod and do not want to throw logs no matter how much I ask them.
All that I was given on this problem is this piece of the log, but it is of little use.

You suggested removing loliasm, which is not in the assembly. Well, let's say you had in mind another similar mod FoamFix (removing it does not fix the problem)
Removing mixinbooter, otherwise called MixinBootstrap, which is a dependency for the Nothirium mod, seems completely inappropriate.

I am seeing this problem as well on an Celeron N4020, not sure how useful that is since I have UHD Graphics 600 as well. I myself am using Kubuntu Linux, kernel 5.10.106, Mesa graphics.

Here one of the players sent me logs with this problem on his PC

You can agree with this, but the statistics of my server and client with the mod showed 1 out of 10 PCs has a problem.
And all these people are united with the problem that these are very old PC builds from 2010-2013

I have 2 pc one with Ryzen 5 1600 af, 16 gb ram 3200 MHz, Nvidia 750 ti 2gb.
And other with amd athlon x2 3ghz with amd hd 6450 1gb, 16 gb ram 1600 MHz.
The chunks problems only appear in the second pc, maybe drivers problems? Later I can post the log

Please update RenderLib to v1.12.2-1.1.3 and set the enableGLDebug config option from RenderLib to true. Then try to reproduce the issue and upload the log file (for example https://gist.github.com/).

Edit: RenderLib-1.12.2-1.1.3 is not working! You have to use RenderLib-1.12.2-1.1.4 and set openGLDebugOutput -> enabled to true.

Finally, the player with the problem threw off the logs to me.

This has happened to me as well, but only upon loading a world for the second time in the session. I can open and play in any world with no issues, but when quit the world and play a different one, no chunks load, yet the blocks still exist and can be interacted with. Entities render fine too. The issue disappears when the game is restarted.
Strangely enough, this was happening all the time one day, and then never did the next day. When this happens again, I will be sure to attach a log file withGLDebug enabled.

All logs that I got and looked through didn't contain anything useful regarding this issue.
But I added another check to see if glMultiDrawArraysIndirect really is supported with with Nothirium 1.12.2-0.1.9-beta which hopefully detects that your hardware doesn't support modern OpenGL and thus the legacy rendering mode gets used.
Please tell me if the issue is fixed now and if not send me the logs.

commented

Please try to reproduce the issue with as few mods as possible. At least without DynamicTrees, BetterFoliage and/or SGCraft as it looks like one of them or all of them are the cause of the first crash.
Also never make use of the VanillaFix crash recovery feature when testing things. A serious crash happened for some reason and if you just ignore that then other things are likely to break afterwards.

commented

Just updated, then I immediately got this crash upon joining a world.
crash-2022-08-27_20.12.13-client.txt
I have VanillaFix installed, so I was able to enter the world a second time. When I did, no blocks rendered. Could see entities and particles just fine. Doesn't look like this was fixed.

But this problem again.

I'm having this exact problem, but my GPU it is a GT 1030 ddr5. Updated with latest drivers, idk what's wrong here (maybe other mods?)

Please test if this issue is still happening with Nothirium-1.12.2-0.3.1-beta.

Note that there is now a config option which allows you to set the preferred render engine manully.

commented

There are still problems with chunks. I also checked the various options for the renderEngine parameter in the configuration file.

@Tezacarius The original issue describes that all chunks are always invisible. What you are describing is another issue which is fixed in Nothirium-1.12.2-0.3.2-beta.
Did you experience the original issue (all chunks always being invisible) before Nothirium-1.12.2-0.3.2-beta?

Oh, I see. I chose the wrong section. I didn't have a problem with chunks before. Thanks for the fix in the new version!

@JaysonBnd There are a few things that you could do:

  • Update forge to 14.23.5.2860
  • Remove Optifine and MixinCompat
  • Make a screenshot of the F3 debug screen
  • Reduce the render distance
  • Try other render engines by changing the Nothirium config (can be done ingame)

I encountered this problem...
My PC:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
GPU: NVidia GeForce GT240
RAM: 4Gb of DDR2-800MT/s
OS: Windows 10 22H2 64Bit

All drivers is updated

I looked at the logs and there really are no clues... However, I assume this is because OpenGL Debug Output does not work with my video card due to the lack of support for OpenGL 4.x. But just in case, here it is:

Only Vanilla (no any mods)

I no longer use this mod now as I don't need it anymore. So, I don't know if this issue has been fixed or not, but hopefully it's fixed.
