my game won't even authenticate to begin with, it's shown in the log files that it can't reach the auth servers even though I can through any normal means, i don't know whats causing it failure, but your mod throws a nasty error when it tries.

should mention this is using Linux Mint 20.3, MultiMC as the launcher, and this only happens with Create: Above and Beyond modpack

i fixed it not authenticating by changing my Java vender from Oracle, to Temurin. I don't know why exactly this fixed the issue, but it did.
i think i was also using a JDK instead of a JRE, but i don't think that has anything to do with it either
