Endermite possession vs Parrot familiar

Describe the bug
I tried to do the endermite ritual. Once everything is in place (pentacle and offerings and book), it says the parrot familiar ritual has started. Both rituals use the same book (Bound foliot) and the same pentacle (Hedyrin's Lure). I remember that I was able to call an endermite previously (it was for sure an previous version).
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Place the pentacle Hedyrin's Lure
- Place the offering (2 dirt, 2 stone) and the book (Bound Foliot)
- Throw an egg (although, at this point you should see that it's the parrot familiar ritual that is started)
- See the gray particles that should normally change to purple when the egg is thrown
Expected behavior
A. Gray particles change to purple.
B. Ritual start and the endermite is summoned

I made a mistake in the initial request, that's why I removed the previous "version" of this edit. To prevent confusion.
After more tries on other rituals, I found it's the same bug that Sagragoth identifies. Once the ritual starts, it doesn't take the offering and it sometimes goes to another ritual. Ex: possessed Enderman; I got the Enderman, the book was consumed but the end stone, bone, rotten flesh and string were left. Reverting to 1.0.18, I do not have the same issue.
