Describe your problem
It's clearly a limitation on my part since I seem to be the only one to meet this issue, but I am unable to figure out how to use the Djinn machine operator. I summoned it, put it in and out of it's book, used the GUI to put a furnace or an ore, then tried to put in the dimensional storage the other one (so if I gave the djinn the furnace, I added an ore in the storage and vice versa) in the storage I added the furnace/ore in the box with an hammer and anvil. I did not wait a long time for any of these as it did not seem to do anything for any of the tries I did.

I tried to find a video example of how other peoples use it but I could not find one for the specific Djinn operator.

Specific questions:
1.How do I connect the Djinn to an machine (ex: furnace)?
a. Is the djinn out or in it's book?
b. Do I have the machine in my inventory or placed in the world or I throw it at the djinn?
c. If the machine is placed in the world, what do I have in my hand (empty or the book or something else)?
d. If I need to make a click (selection) do I have to make a right click, left click, sneak+left click (assume the I did not change the default control)
2.It says in the spirit book that it can be linked to a dimensional storage, how?
a. Is it by default or must you select it?
b. If it must be selected, how do I do it, with the book or otherwise?
c. If it's with the book, should the djinn be out or in the book or it's irrelevant?
3.It says in the spirit book that it can be used to unload a chest, if I understand correctly this would mean that I can put the stuff I want to be transformed in a chest and the djinn will transform it stack by stack until it's all done?
a.How do I link the chest to the djinn?

Sorry for the massive amount of questions, but I figured that if these are answered, most people who need to understand the same way I do will benefit from a full undertsanding, hopefully with these my thick head will manage to get it working.

System (please complete the following information):

• Minecraft 1.16.5
• Modpack Link and Version, or list of mods (... I used this tag because I was not a bug nor an enhancement, figured it was the closest tag to my issue).
• Specific mods that you experience compatiblity issues with (None to my knowledge)

Through a lot of trial and error I managed to find my answers by myself. In case someone else needs the info I will write them down here then close the ticket.

1. Once the ritual is done you receive a book of calling. The djinn is out, you right-click on it to trap it in the book.
2. Once the steps below are done you will be able to put some items into a furnace from away and get the resulting item in your dimensional storage. I only tried it with the furnace, it's possible some other contraptions works also (blast furnace, smoker, etc). I also only tried with the dimensional storage.
3. You get close to the furnace, select the book and right-click on the floor (two or three block away from you). This will make the djinn appear.
4. You look at your feet (right below you) and right-click. This will popup a menu. If it's not set to "Set machine" click on the big box (not the x). It should revert to set machine.
5. Right-click on the furnace. A menu will appear. I'm not too sure what are those configuration (says input with "up/down/north/east/west/south" and output with the same option). I left them as is. you click on the "X". This close the GUI.
6. You look at your feet (right below you) and right-click. Set it to "Set actuator" (or whatever is there instead of Set machine).
7. Right-click on the dimensional matrix or it's anchor.
8. It's done you can now access the furnace from your dimensional matrix, as long as you got fuel in your furnace.
9. To process an item through the furnace, you need to put your stack into the box with an anvil & hammer on the left of the dimensional matrix. It will require a bit of time but the resulting item are added back into your dimensional matrix.
