Familiar ring not working on catserver

Describe the bug
Just switched my server from forgeserver to catserver. Everything else works fine, but the familiar ring has no effect, and the familar in the ring cannot be released once bounded.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install Catserver for 1.16.5
  2. Run server with mod Occultism
  3. Create a familiar ring like always
  4. See error

Expected behavior
The ring can absorb a familiar, but cannnot extract it anymore, and it has no efffect.

1.16.5 no longer receives updates so this sadly remains unfixed.
That said from old reports it seems that only in certain cases it does not work (it seems that some of the familiar data stored in the ring is either deleted or prevented from being stored by some other mod that we never narrowed down), while in others it does
