no night vision flashing mod, when is a shader active is always having night vision

What happened?
When a shader is active with oculus and No night vision flashing (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/no-nv-flash/files/3527430 ), the effect of night vision is always active, despite not having the effect (i believe is the other mods fault, but cofh team sended me here)

I'm currently having the exact same issue.
Same MC/Iris/Sodium versions as OP, playing FTB Direwolf20 1.18 (v1.8.0).
Shaders tested:
- Complementary Shaders v4.5.1
- Sildurs Vibrant Shaders v1.40 Extreme-VL
- SEUS PTGI HRR Test 2.1
- SEUS Renewed v1.0.1
Both SEUS seemed to work fine on darkness, the others did not and acted like if having perma-night vision.
Also, got Rubidium Extras installed, but the "True Darkness" settings doesn't work at all (0 changes if turned On/Off).
