What happened?

I'm having a strange visual issue where sandstorms and snowstorms look transparent while using shaders

From what I understand there is something in Oculus (and probably by that extent Iris) that conflicts with what Corosus uses to implement the fog. It's a keynote on the mod page that something in Oculus doesn't work with how he setup fog and he doesn't even believe it to be fixable. Unfortunately what it is or why even tornadoes don't appear to shade anymore like some videos on 1.18.2 I've seen is something I can't find anywhere.

I've asked on the weather2 tracker but haven't gotten anything and I don't know where else to look or ask as there is no discord or any real info on weather2's shading system. It would be cool to get some info from either party on potential where the issues are (or what shaders/mods are compatible to get it working better) so either people have set expectations and they stop asking these questions or someone else fixes it and requests a PR.
