v1.6.13(+) for Minecraft 1.18.2

Hi,

I'm currently trying to get shaders with Distant Horizons working on a 1.18.2 Forge server. This is not possible as the 1.18.2 version (1.16.4) of Oculus is below the minimum required version (1.16.13) for this to work. Is there a possibility for the 1.18.2 version to be updated to 1.16.3, or perhaps even a later version?

Thanks in advance.

I'm also in this situation. I was told making a 1.18.2 version of the newer releases could be possible by taking the 1.19.2 file and modifying it, but I don't know any more than that. If you find any solutions, please let me know!

There isn't 1.6.13 released for 1.18.2 Iris. You have to tell the difference of 1.6.11 and 1.6.13. An according to my test. 1.6.11 works with DH

"1.6.11 works with DH". So, it's Iris's screenshot

It says fabric though? Maybe that's just something it does with oculus? Either way, whenever I use the latest version of 1.18.2 oculus, the lods do not work whenever I use shaders

Actually, I think that's because the version of Oculus that I have is 1.6.4. Where are you getting a version of 1.6.11 for 1.18.2?

it says forge if you look at the screenshot in the PR

I see the one in the pull request, but in the screenshot that was sent, it says "Minecraft 1.18.2 (Fabric/fabric/Fabric)". My question now is where do you get the version of oculus that supposedly works with DH and shaders?

So, has anyone managed to get Oculus 1.18.2 to work with DH after all...? I'm trying right now, and it still doesn't seem to work...

Hi, yes, I did. At least partially. It's buggy and the only shader I've been able to get to work with it is Complementary, but it's functional. I had to scrounge through old github posts to find some obscure version of oculus which works with Embeddium 0.3.14. Frankly, I have no idea where I originally got the .jar from and I can't find it again, so here's a mega link with the oculus file
