What happened?

Chest becomes invisible using shaders (I used complementary shaders) I haven't tested other shaders

Disabling Botania's shaders (botania-client.toml configuration file) and Flywheel's backend (flywheel-client.toml configuration file) probably fixes some issues, including transparent chests.
Disabling Botania's shaders alone might be enough in this case.

I can confirm that it seems to be caused by flywheel backend. Keeping botania's shaders enabled doesn't seem to cause issues with chest rendering.

I had the same issue using BSL shaders. Can confirm that setting the flywheel backend to 'OFF' solved the issue for me.
