All the other Vethean bosses drop their loot, spin, play the ender dragon death sound, drop lots and lots of exp, and explode. This includes karos, raglok, the hive queen, wreck, and lady luna.

Quadro, when killed, simply drops his loot, turns red, flops on his side, and drops very little exp - just like a normal vanilla mob would.
