If you use nightmare bed for teleport to vethea, all your inventory will wipe on teleportation or arriving to vethea! Any items don`t save, and need to make localizaion of warning :)

That's intentional. Vethea is meant to be a dream, so you have a separate inventory. If you return to the overworld, you get your items back.
