Tree generation breaks everything

I am running the current version of Oh The Biomes We've Gone on Fabric 1.20.1. When the trees grow, they break anything in their paths. This causes trees to grow through village structures etc. The big issue is that I have a tree farm that keeps getting broke. The trees will grow and destroy the machines that farm them. The blocks are just replaced.

What blocks is your farm made with? Bc i filter every block position and check what the block is before placing
The farm is using the create mod. When the trees grew, they replaced linear and radial chassis, mechanical saws, deployers, etc. One tree grew straight down the middle, replacing the chassis, the mechanical bearing, the clutch, and the water wheel below. The trees also replaced polished andesite blocks that were placed around the perimeter of the farm.
